DIFF MISSION STATEMENT

The Durango Independent Film Festival is committed to film literacy and to being a welcoming, intimate, and unique film organization that screens global, innovative, and diverse films that connect independent filmmakers, their artistic process, and their vision to the community.

The Durango Independent Film Festival (DIFF) is made up of many leaders and staff that are all passionate about film. From previous experience, the DIFF staff understands how film can make a difference in the enrichment of a community, and is dedicated to this purpose. To this end, DIFF has created a Mission Statement and Guiding Principles in order to have a good blueprint for delivering its basic goal of executing an artistically and culturally successful film festival that is also financially sustainable.
