Strange Shorts

Die Strange Shorts sind kein Festival im klassischen Sinne. Kein Wettbewerb. Vorstellung der Filme und ihrer Macher. Leckeres drumherum mit Quiz & Musik an ständig wechselnden Orten in Berlin.

Wir wollen Filme zeigen. Und das machen wir. Filme die wir in den letzten Jahren auf Festivals im ganzen Land entdeckten. Nun gesammelt, sortiert, unsere Favouriten, für Euch. Wir zeigen Filme die vor allem zwei Dinge erfüllen müssen: SHORT & STRANGE. Nur Filme die strangenough sind, werden gezeigt und bekommen somit automatisch unser "Prädikat strangenough".

The shortfilm event StrangeShorts is not about competition between movies but about a well mixed film programme. All films get the title "strangEnough" automatically. The pool of films is quite international, projection uses beamer technique to guarantee a flexible programme with audience interactive elements. The movies as well as the filmmakers and their further work are presented.

If its possible the filmmakers are on stage, if not - the introduction will at least be done by the moderation and with a video / foto / textmessage by the filmmaker. StrangeShorts includes a feedback feature, which lets the audience give feedback during the event or online afterwards. We will collect and transfer the messages then to the filmmakers. Finally StrangeShorts tries to present a fine programme mixed with some show and a cool location - like it has to be.
