It Ain't Luck

I was asked to make a music video for Volcom Recording Artists Year Long Disaster. The idea was to create a video that appears to be mistakenly broadcast on normal television, as it appears to be something you may find on a satellite channel from a random country. Switching between multiple generations of VHS video, using overexposure, and experimenting with abrupt, arhythmic editing enabled me to create a transgressive piece that, in the end, Volcom refused to accept because it did not fit with their image. The group is still attempting to negotiate with the label on this matter.
